Product Returns, Withdrawal from contract
Product Returns, Withdrawal from contract
-
Both you, as the Buyer, and we, as the Seller, are entitled to withdraw from the Contract in cases specified by law or as outlined in these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). The provisions of Section 1829 of the Civil Code do not apply, meaning that the Buyer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract without reason.
- Contract withdrawal must always be in written form and is effective upon delivery to the other party, either by mail, email, or in person. For email, delivery is considered the day following dispatch unless it is proven to have been received on the day it was sent. Withdrawal sent by mail is considered delivered upon receipt by the recipient; if the recipient refuses the delivery, it is considered delivered upon refusal. If the recipient does not pick up the postal delivery within the designated storage period, it is deemed delivered on the last day of that period.
-
In case of contract withdrawal, the Buyer will receive a refund for the order amount, minus any shipping costs incurred. If payment was made using a method that involves third-party fees, these costs will also be deducted from the refund. This applies to the following payment methods, with the respective percentage charges (based on the total invoiced order amount) payable to the payment service intermediaries:
- 1.5% - card payment (couriers)
- 2% - payment via Comgate gateway (applies to all payment methods available through the gateway)
-
Conditions for Product Returns:
- 4.1. The return of the product must be approved by the Seller.
- 4.2. New products returned within 14 days from the invoice date:
- Must be unused and in undamaged packaging.
- An 80% refund of the purchase price will be provided upon return.
- 4.3. Secondhand products returned within 14 days from the invoice date:
- An 80% refund of the purchase price will be provided after inspection by the Seller.
Please note that the shipping costs and all associated risks for returning items are the responsibility of the sender (customer). The Seller reserves the right to refuse the return even if all conditions are met.

Inspection Upon Product Return
For the proper acceptance of returned products, please follow the guidelines below:
- Attach a visible cover letter, ideally the invoice, to the returned product that clearly displays the buyer's name.
- Product returns are accepted only by prior arrangement, during weekdays between 8–11 a.m. and 1–3 p.m. In the case of an in-person return, the purchase price will be refunded via bank transfer only. During the handover, the product will be inspected, photographed, and a "Product Receipt Report for Contract Cancellation" will be drafted.
- If returning the product via a shipping service, please include a note specifying the desired delivery time—see the times above.
- Clearly label the shipment with the sender's name, which must match the buyer’s name.
When using a shipping service, select a provider that can accommodate the nature and value of the product. For example, large items such as refrigerators or convection ovens do not meet parcel shipping conditions and must be shipped via pallet transport (e.g., DHL, TopTrans).
Please note that for standard parcel shipping, carriers typically do not allow product inspection upon delivery; only packaging inspection is permitted.
You can arrange for shipping via www.zaslat.cz.
We strongly recommend using a delivery service other than Česká Pošta (e.g., DPD, PPL), as packages from Česká Pošta frequently arrive damaged. In such cases, the customer bears responsibility for damages, and the refund amount will be reduced accordingly.
Our company reserves the right to refuse a shipment if there is suspicion of product damage, whether due to damaged packaging, the item's value, or its susceptibility to damage. If the chosen carrier does not allow a thorough inspection of the product upon delivery, we may decline to accept the package. In such instances, we will discuss further steps with you based on whether the package appears damaged.
